Understanding yourself is a skill that can begin early and deepen over time

Children & Young People

Children and young people are growing up in a world filled with information, expectations and constant input.

As they learn how to navigate school, relationships and the world around them, they are also developing a relationship with themselves.

They are discovering how they think, how they feel, what their body communicates, what matters to them and how to make choices they can trust.

The YOU Movement creates experiences that give children and young people the space, language and support to explore these parts of themselves.

Grounded in the Y.O.U Framework, each experience helps young people build self-awareness, emotional understanding, confidence and the ability to lead themselves in a way that is appropriate for their age and developmental level.

Find the right experience

Each experience is designed around the developmental stage of the children and young people taking part.

The format, language and activities are adapted to meet them where they are, while helping them build a stronger connection to their mind, body and heart.

YOU: Explorers

For preschool and primary-aged children

A playful and engaging experience that helps children explore their thoughts, feelings, body signals and relationships through storytelling, movement and hands-on activities.

Children begin building the foundations of emotional awareness, confidence, resilience and connection in ways that feel safe, natural and fun.

For students in Years 7 to 12

An interactive 90-minute experience that gives students space to explore who they are, how they think, how they feel and how they can lead themselves.

Through discussion, movement, reflection and simple experiments, students develop greater self-awareness, emotional intelligence, confidence and trust in their own decisions.

YOU: Lab

For young people aged 14 to 18

A personalised small-group experience combining the Y.O.U Framework with Human Design and astrology.

Each participant receives their individual charts and is guided to explore their strengths, patterns, emotions and natural way of making decisions without being placed into a box.

Ongoing Early Learning Partnership

We currently partner with Explore & Develop Breakfast Point, delivering ongoing wellbeing workshops for children aged 2–5.

These sessions are thoughtfully designed to align with the centre’s focus areas, while introducing children to the foundations of the Y.O.U Framework through mind, body and heart.

Each experience is adapted to meet children where they are, creating a space that feels engaging, supportive and developmentally appropriate.

Through storytelling, movement and guided exploration, children begin to:

  • recognise and express their emotions

  • build awareness of their thoughts and feelings

  • develop confidence in who they are

  • strengthen connection with themselves and others

Over time, this consistent approach supports the integration of wellbeing in a way that becomes part of everyday learning, rather than something separate.

This partnership reflects how this work can be embedded into early learning environments in a way that is both meaningful and sustainable, supporting not only individual children, but the wider community.

“Liz’s workshops have been transformative for our children and our team. The children are constantly engaged and captivated by Liz’s approach - she has a true gift for delivering big messages like body boundaries, believing in yourself, and celebrating uniqueness in a way children really connect with. We’re noticing the children encouraging each other, choosing kindness, and showing real growth in resilience and empowerment after each session. As a centre, we’re committed to strengthening our practices for the wellbeing of children, and working with Liz has been incredibly refreshing. Her experience and passion have helped us build a program where emotional wellbeing and identity are at the forefront. These workshops have boosted confidence and emotional awareness for both the children and educators. Our team has picked up new strategies and positive language, and the children show real pride in themselves and their work, often uplifting those around them through positive conversations. Liz’s energy, expertise, and genuine love for what she does shine through every session. We feel so lucky to be on this journey with her. She’s making a real difference in a world where self-worth and wellbeing have never been more important for children”

Create an experience for your children or young people

Every group is different.

Experiences can be tailored to the age, developmental stage and needs of the children and young people taking part, whether you are looking for a one-off workshop, a small-group experience or an ongoing partnership.

If you are a school, early learning centre, community organisation or parent interested in bringing The YOU Movement to your young people, I would love to hear from you.

Together, we can create an experience that helps them know themselves, trust themselves and begin to lead themselves.
